The purpose of this data is to support Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary (FKNMS) benthic habitat map products and research planning efforts. We are providing improved seafloor mapping data products for areas of the FKNMS. They have been incorporated into the FKNMS Digital Atlas, an interactive data viewer established in 2018 and updated in 2020, that features a number of mapping products, ground-truthing images and videos. The Sanctuary and partners have been using the data viewer map service for planning, data visualization, and management plan development. |

The PCA used 8 metrics (Depth mean, depth standard deviation, curvature, plan curvature, profile curvature, rugosity, slope, slope of slope) derived from the bathymetry. Each PCA shows the amount of variance within the derived metrics and the results only contain information that uniquely describes the seafloor.</SPAN></SPAN></P></DIV></DIV></DIV> |
