Description: This dataset contains information on the land stewardship areas Northeast of Puerto Rico, identified by Puerto Rico GAP Analysis Project PRGAP. The areas have been classified according to the amount of protection given to biodiversity within them. GAP criteria was used in order to classify them. Additional information was added as part of the description of each of the stewardship areas. This information was gathered mainly through the help of interviews with the management officials of the land stewardship areas. However, other sources of information were used including internet webpages, literature review and others.
