Service Description: Atlantic sharpnose shark (juvenile and adult) are routinely taken during Southeast Area Monitoring and Assessment Program (SEAMAP) and National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) fishery-independent bottom longline (2001-2018) and trawl (1987-2018) surveys throughout the U.S. Gulf of Mexico. This map presents the occurrence results from these surveys.
