Service Description: Sampling effort (number of bottom longline sets) of Atlantic sharpnose shark (Rhizoprionodon terraenovae), blacknose shark (Carcharhinus acronotus), blacktip shark (Carcharhinus limbatus), gag grouper (Mycteroperca microlepis), red grouper (Epinephelus morio), red snapper (Lutjanus campechanus), and yellowedge grouper (Epinephelus flavolimbatus) summarized by 15-minute longitude by latitude blocks. Data are from 2,964 bottom longline sets taken from 2001 to 2018 as part of bottom longline surveys conducted by National Marine Fisheries Service.
